MACBETH
"Can such things be,
And overcome us like a summer's cloud,
Without our special wonder?"

How far would you go to achieve your greatest ambition? Grand desires give rise to ghastly deeds in Shakespeare's tale of a brave warrior and his wife who become murderous monarchs. Unfolding in a world haunted by ghosts and supernatural forces, Macbeth is one of the theatre's most fascinating horror stories about betrayal, dangerous desire, and the kind of evil that never sleeps.

COMEDY OF ERRORS
"We came into the world like brother and brother, and now let's go hand in hand, not one before another."

Take a pair of twin brothers (both called Antipholus), and another pair of twin servants (both called Dromio), separate them at birth and set them adrift in a city wary of strangers and with a reputation for sorcery, and you have a recipe for theatrical mayhem. One Antipholus is shocked by the kindness of strangers; the other confused by the people he knows. The Dromios, caught in middle, suffer the consequences!
A chaotic tale of mistaken identity, hilarious slapstick, and a city gone mad.

Looking for:

For all MAJOR ROLES we will be seeking two separate casts. All actors will receive a stipend.

We are seeking high school and college students, or beginning actors, for our Intern Company. We have some very exciting opportunities in store for our Interns this year!

By Alan Ayckbourn
Directed by Marty Epstein

Saturday, April 22, 2017 10am-12 noon
Sunday, April 23, 2017 6-8pm
Synopsis:
Meet three couples in their three kitchens on the Christmas Eves of three successive years. The "lower class" but very much up and coming Hopcrofts are in their bright new, gadget filled kitchen anxiously giving a little party for their bank manager and his wife and an architect neighbor. Next there are the architect and his wife in their neglected, untidy flat. Then the bank manager and his wife are in their large, slightly modernized, old Victorian style kitchen. Running like a dark thread through the wild comedy of behind the scenes disasters at Christmas parties is the story of the advance of the Hopcrofts to material prosperity and independence and the decline of the others. In the final stages the little man is well and truly on top, with the others, literally and unnervingly, dancing to his tune.
